From the beginning of my employment at M·CAM one thing became very clear, David Martin is always striving to align value and put its energy into play through Integral Accounting. And this post, along with all the other work we have done over years is a response in a much grander dialogue between communication and creativity.
By the end of the first decade of the 21st Century, the slide deck presentation format became a dominant mode of communications in the sale of ideas and products. For David, this medium was very natural for him. Because… when presenting empirical data to support a conclusion, …a montage of text, numbers, charts and symbols are used. Hence, David quickly enlisted my storyboard art abilities and skill set when I joined M·CAM as an analyst.
This image, evolved from a graphic David Martin had sent me in which the Integral Accounting principles are moved through the components of a carbon atom.

Innovation comes from experimentation and synthesizing through engagement. If the intention is pure, …then purer is the result. The words are very important in these pictures. After all the art can not be patented if the invention was patented or described in a printed publication prior to it’s application. At the beginning of the year I told an archetypal story for our Q1 staff meeting. We recorded the meeting and sent it to David in order for him to sense the team’s cohesion. David listened to the whole recording which was approximately 3 hours in length. A week later David expressed the influence the story had impressed upon him. He said that it inspired him to engage in the experience of drawing. It had escaped his attention in development of his repertoire of talents we know him for today or did it?
